MFT

As a therapist, I am curious, honest, and casual in my communication. Exploring new angles and challenging thought processes allows us to build a foundation that supports healthier relationships with ourselves and others. Through a collaborative approach, I will work with you to create space to explore yourself more deeply. I come to this work authentically and honestly.

I work with individuals and couples to move toward their goals using evidence-based practices that teach the skills necessary for increasing overall health and happiness. My approach moves beyond the traditional pathological roots of psychotherapy and toward a holistic, strength-based, systemic, and salutogenic model.

My whole-person approach considers mental, physical, and emotional health in an integrated way. I am queer- and gender-affirming, sex-positive, kink- and BDSM-affirming, and fat-positive (aligned with Health at Every Size). I aim to help you center yourself in your individual and relational healing as we develop tools to process complex thoughts, feelings, emotions, and experiences.

We will explore nutrition, sleep, movement, and restorative practices to promote mind and body health. (Functional Nutritional Therapy)

To support the discovery of new perspectives, I may invite you to reimagine your experiences through a different lens. (Narrative Therapy)

I believe the past holds important insight, and I value nurturing all parts of ourselves—past, present, and future. (Psychodynamic Theory, Internal Family Systems)

Humans are social creatures, and connection is essential to moving from surviving to thriving. I believe in the power of self-love and that our relationships provide a crucial opportunity to grow and better understand ourselves. All ties—including the therapeutic relationship—offer a new laboratory for exploration and healing. Every relationship holds keys to the mysteries within us (Relational/Attachment Theory, Sex Therapy)

I believe your body experiences as much as your brain and heart. That means we’ll explore how to attune to and work with your physical sensations—especially in relation to your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. (Somatic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy)
