Hi, my name is Tazilyn or Taz

I am an intern therapist completing my Master’s program at Thomas Jefferson University in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Sex Therapy. I use a systemic framework in therapy which means that we will consider various aspects of your life and relationships, whether it be friends, family, coworkers, housemates, etc., and the impact that they have.

In addition, I believe that progress can begin by curating a collaborative safe space where couples,  individuals, and systems can have open communication and feel comfortable being authentic. I also believe healthy relationships and sexual experiences thrive with honesty and effective communication.

My therapy style is authentic, nonjudgemental, honest, and it has a dash of humor when needed. I will work with you in setting attainable goals, such as finding freedom in your sexuality and desires, gaining insight, and increasing contentment in your lives.

My life experiences and my passion for improving mental health, have inspired me to be mindful and sensitive to different cultures and relationship types. Additionally, I am also dedicated to breaking the stigma of mental health in communities of color.
