MFT (she/her/hers)

Hello,

I provide therapy for individuals, couples, and families with adult children. As a child of divorce who experienced complex family dynamics, I am passionate about helping adult children process how their family of origin and cultural messages have shaped both their strengths and the barriers to self-actualization. In addition to family work, I enjoy working alongside couples or individuals in all relational structures to navigate challenges and foster meaningful connections.

My primary therapeutic approaches include Narrative Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Bowenian Family Therapy, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, though I draw from a variety of modalities to best meet my clients’ unique needs.

Topics and stressors I frequently explore with clients include:

  • Family of Origin
  • Premarital, Discernment, Uncoupling, and Coparenting Counseling
  • Intimate Partner Violence
  • Sexual Trauma
  • Influence of Attachment Styles
  • Affairs
  • Jealousy
  • Boundaries
  • Sexual Desire Discrepancies, Arousal and/or Desire Disorders, Premature/Delayed Ejaculation
  • Sexual Identity Development and Non-Traditional Relationship Structures

My therapeutic perspective is that you are the expert on your own life. While I bring training and expertise in relational dynamics, sex therapy, and mental health, I believe that growth and healing are deeply personal and nuanced. My role is to offer an unbiased, challenging yet affirming perspective to support your process.

I practice from an anti-racist, fat-liberating, relationship anarchy, and anti-colonial framework. I understand that systems of power and cultural narratives impact our sense of self and relationships. Together, we will unpack these influences and work toward a more authentic, empowered version of you.

I am a graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor of Psychology & Developmental Family Sciences and Thomas Jefferson University with a Master of Couple and Family Therapy, specializing in Sex Therapy. I am currently working toward licensure, receiving supervision and guidance from some of the most renowned therapists in the field.

If you are looking for a therapist who is direct and transparent while remaining validating and patient, welcome to my office! I am here to provide a collaborative, supportive space where you can explore, heal, and grow.
