BA - Intern Therapist

I am an intern therapist currently completing my Master’s in Couple and Family Therapy at Thomas Jefferson University, specializing in sex therapy. I am eager to help individuals, couples, and families grow and thrive through compassion and connection. I utilize a systemic perspective, which means I believe that we are shaped by our relationships with others and our interactions with the world around us.

In therapy, I am dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, sex-positive, and kink-affirming environment where honest and healthy communication can thrive. I am passionate about building a space where we celebrate our achievements and accept our failures with kindness. We are neither purely heroes nor purely villains in our story, so I want to help you embrace the natural complexity and grey areas of life.

As a proud queer man, I understand the importance of feeling seen and understood in therapy. I also recognize that, especially for men, expressing emotions and vulnerability takes time and practice. I believe that you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to guide you, learn from you, and occasionally challenge you to foster deeper self-discovery and growth.

In addition to general Relationship and Sex Therapy issues, some of my specific areas of interest include:

  • LGBTQ+ Identities
  • Masculinity
  • Intimacy & Sexuality
  • Ethical Non-Monogamy
  • Polyamory
  • Kink/BDSM
  • Infidelity
  • Conflict Management
