MFT

Welcome and congratulations for taking this step to invest in your future, your relationships, and your own well-being! Have you have felt stuck, disconnected from yourself, and struggling with anxiety, people pleasing, and self-worth? You might find yourself repeating similar patterns in your relationships or life as a whole, and curious about going “deeper” to the roots of the problem. You may have even been told, or wondered if, you are “too self-aware” for therapy. It might be your first time, or you may have attended therapy before and felt it did not really “stick”.

I welcome individuals, couples, and poly-systems. My approach to therapy goes beyond simply “solving problems” and prioritizes fostering an authentic, meaningful relationship to support our exploration of the deeper roots to your struggles. While centering you as the expert of your life, experiences, and wellness journey, I will guide our work by holistically integrating systemic, emotion-focused, somatic, cognitive and behavioral approaches. I will utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as Polyvagal Theory and Attachment Theory. I believe therapy is inherently political and therefore strive to maintain a decolonized practice in my work. I do this by remaining educated on the effects of systemic oppression and the current and historically oppressive role of therapy, while also broadening definitions of mental health and wellbeing. I am queer, LGBTQIA affirming, and kink aware.

As a queer, neurodivergent clinician, I bring my full self into the room while prioritizing our therapeutic relationship and centering you in our work. I received my Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy at Thomas Jefferson University and specialized in Sex therapy. I also received my bachelor’s degree in psychology at West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
If you think we might be a good fit, please contact me at the email or phone number listed below and I look forward to speaking with you!
