LSW

Welcome! My goal is to create an authentic and welcoming space for individuals, couples and/or partnerships to improve their intimate and sexual lives. My role is to help you (re)discover pleasure, joy, and security in yourself and your relationships. As a therapist trained in Intersystemic therapy, my primary focus is to work within client’s “systems” – that is, your past and present intimate relationships, the family and culture you grew up in, and the other parts of life that make you, you. During sessions, we’ll look into where you are now, how you got there, and what you’d like to see for yourself.

My approach to therapy incorporates collaboration, introspection, and humor.

I provide a judgment-free environment where all my clients can feel respected and understood. Support will look different for every client, and I’ll tailor my process to your needs. We’ll talk about direct and pragmatic steps you can take, as well as explore the deeper roots of your concerns. You’ll come away with new insights and strategies for change/growth.

The theories that drive my practice are rooted in interpersonal relationships. As a Strengths-Based therapist, I first and foremost look for your sources of strength and interpersonal wellbeing. I draw on Bowenian family systems theory to explore intergenerational patterns which continue to play out in your current relationships. I also draw on psychodynamic attachment theory to develop insights into how you relate to others and the meanings behind your relationships.

I received my Masters of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania, and continued my post-graduate training in sex therapy through the Council for Relationships. I’m a member of AASECT, and I’m dedicated to ongoing professional development. I’m dedicated to a practice that’s culturally competent, anti-ableist, anti-racist, and LGBTQ+ affirming.

Please feel free to reach out, I’m happy to offer a 15-minute consultation call to answer any questions you may have about my practice and process.
