MFT (she/her)
Hey there, I’m Jannah (she/her), and I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.
Healing is your birthright—and it doesn’t require becoming someone new. I believe therapy is a journey back to your most authentic self: peeling back layers of trauma, shame, and societal expectation to reconnect with your inner knowing.
I support individuals and couples navigating emotional disconnection, sexual shame, complex trauma, and the complexities of intimacy. Whether you’re healing from childhood wounds, exploring desire, or struggling to feel fully seen in your relationships, I offer a space where you can reconnect with your body, your truth, and your power.
While I support a range of concerns, here are the areas I most often work with:
Mental Health & Family Dynamics
- Anxiety, depression, stress
- Attachment issues, self-worth, inner child work
- Family-of-origin dynamics
Sexuality & Intimacy
- Desire discrepancies, sexual shame
- Pleasure-centered healing, sensuality
- Lack of intimacy, body-inclusive therapy
Relationships & Identity
- Infidelity, communication struggles
- Monogamy and non-monogamy
- Racial identity, cultural/generational trauma, immigration, grief/loss
Somatic & Mindfulness Healing
- Religious and spiritual trauma
- Sexual trauma, nervous system regulation
- Somatic processing, mindfulness-based stress reduction
My approach is intuitive, relational, and body centered. I integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, Somatic Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) into culturally responsive, trauma-informed care.
As a Southern, neurodivergent, Black cisgender woman, I bring a lived understanding of how race, culture, gender, and spirituality shape our experiences. I offer a nonjudgmental space for you to be your full self—no masking, no shrinking. Just acceptance for the fullness of who you are.
My work is collaborative, grounded, and deeply compassionate – but also direct. Our work together may feel spacious, honest, and rooted in both radical acceptance and change—when it calls for it. Through offering a warm, nonjudgmental space for clients of all identities and backgrounds, they often find that healing is possible and that their wholeness, pleasure, and emotional safety matter.
