MFT (she/her)

Evan (she/her) is a compassionate, non-judgmental, and LGBTQ+ affirming therapist who creates a safe space to explore your relationships; both with others and with yourself. She will help you find balance in times of transition or stress, with a collaborative and person-centered approach. In sessions, you will examine some of the root causes of the patterns in your life and strive for self-discovery, self-affirmation, and self-growth. She aims to help individuals heal their relationship to their sexuality and body image by processing messaging received from society or in childhood. In her couples work, she will support and facilitate conflict resolution and believes in the power of transparent communication to foster connection and improve overall relationship satisfaction. Lastly, as someone who spent over a decade of her life in the performing arts, she has a deep understanding of the lifestyle, and recognizes the dire need for mental healthcare in the field. Whatever brings you to therapy at this time, she looks forward to helping you find empowerment and healing in your relationship to yourself, others, and in your sexuality.

Her work is informed by an integrative model, drawing from many modalities such as, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method, Psychodynamic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Attachment Theory.

Evan is a member of AASECT and AAMFT. She received her training from Jefferson University’s Couple and Family Therapy Program, with a specialization in Sex Therapy, and a Clinical Internship with Council for Relationships.
