MFT Intern

Hi, my name is Casey (they/he).

I am Queer, Trans, non-monogamous, white-Latine Masters-level Couples and Family therapist. My background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Critical Diversity Studies, which grounds my perspective in liberatory frameworks. This education enables me to hold the nuances of intersectionality, acknowledging power, privilege, and oppression, that may contribute to your everyday challenges. I’m systemically trained, which means that I view my clients as more than just individuals or couples; My approach takes into account your experiences within your family, community, and cultural dynamics, both current and historical.

Navigating fluctuations in desire, exploring your identity, or finding the tools to enhance your relationships can feel intimidating. I intend to create a space where sex, gender, and relationship dynamics can be talked about comfortably. My sessions are collaborative, celebratory, and imaginative. I recognize you as the expert in your life, and together we can find what is attainable to you, even if it feels unclear right now.
