Avi Diamond, MA, NCC, MT-BC
Avi Diamond holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and is a Nationally Certified Counselor. She completed the post-graduate Sex Therapy program at the Council for Relationships, and is currently pursuing licensure in PA as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Sex Therapist.
In 2019, Avi created the first ever LGBTQ+ survivor-centered domestic violence program in Allegheny County at the Women’s Center & Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh. They are a passionate advocate for social justice and utilize a systemic lens in the therapy room to help individuals explore and conceptualize their experiences. Avi uses a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach to create an emotionally safe environment where clients can address their issues at their own pace.
